Our reiteration of this song is called Sit by Me. The song starts out with the two people walking in the movie theater and they smell the popcorn. The line “and the line is the only stale we feel” is to represent that they are both happy to be together on this movie “date”. The first verse ends with “When I ask, will you sit, sit by me?”. The main person wants to sit next them in the movie theater. The second verse is about them gazing at each other and interlocking fingers, all joys of young love. The line “I will pay” is the main person wanting to pay for their movie snacks. A nice gesture as a sign of courtesy. Then the final line of the verse, again, “When I ask, will you sit, sit by me?”, to conclude the song.
